Entre o pretendido e o resultado final vai haver uma grande diferença. Parece que há uns dias até se escapou uma lista da Academia com os premiados e há algumas surpresas. Verdade ou não, vou torcer por todos estes grandes filmes - sim, este ano a colheita é boa, e vou apreciar o espectáculo. Haverá musical com song and dance. É ver o Hugh Jackman a dar a perna, encenado pelo Baz Lurhman. Bora lá!

Kate Winslet ao receber o globo para Melhor Actriz em Drama com Revolutionary Road: "I'm so sorry Anne, Meryl, Kristin - and who's the other one? ... Angelina."
O esquecimento fez Angelina Jolie lançar o seu olhar petrificante e a cerimónia acabou mais cedo. Ahahahah! Mentira. Mas foi bom de ver. (True Blood não ganhou melhor série. Bah! E ainda há muito filme para ver até aos Oscars...)

Antes dos Globos e dos Oscars já há prémios da crítica. Da cerimónia destaco o momento da melhor actriz. Um empate entre Anne Hathaway para Rachel Getting Married e Meryl Streep para Doubt, aceite pela colega Viola Davis. Discursos emotivos e humorados, entrecortados por uma Angelina Jolie mortinha por bater em alguém.

Caramel, de Nadine Labaki estreou a semana passada. 5 mulheres em Beirut. 5 vidas diferentes unidas num cabeleireiro. Simples, cheio de humor e amor, soube-me muito bem este filme em tempo pós-oscars. Vale pelas histórias, por elas que são lindas e também por eles (sobretudo pelo polícia interpretado pelo Adel Karam - por quem me apaixonei imediatamente, e que por amor até corta o bigode). Ceras (aliás, caramelo), pinças, vernizes, tesouras e secadores por todo o lado. Esqueçam a Beirut dos telejornais. Esta Beirut, aquela a quem a realizadora dedica o filme, é quente e suja mas cheia de mulheres bonitas à procura de uma vida fora daquela a que são obrigadas por imposição de terem nascido mulheres e ali. A mudança existe em pequenos momentos, num corte de cabelo por exemplo. E isso faz delas, e de nós, um bocadinho mais felizes.
